HOW WE WORK:
We will always have the best interests of every child at heart.
With young children play therapy is the medium used by therapists to help children express themselves in a language with which they are comfortable: PLAY.
Play therapy helps children to work through their feelings and thoughts in a safe place.
Play therapists may use specific techniques with children to assist them with expression of feelings, thoughts and worries. These may include: clay, sand tray or drawing, painting and writing.
With adolescents play techniques may also be incorporated as an alternative form of expression. We also use play in work with families to help them heal from and deal with traumas.
